Xianguang Yang received his Bachelor’s degree in Optics from Sun Yat-Sen University (SYSU) in 2012, and completed his Doctorate in Optical Engineering with the theoretical and experimental combination of nanowire and nanoparticle photonics at the State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies affiliated with SYSU in 2016 under the guidance of Prof. Baojun Li (Changjiang Scholar). He received National Postgraduate Scholarship in 2016. He became an Assistant Professor of the Institute of Nanophotonics at the Jinan University in 2016 and became an Assistant to the Dean since 2018, then promoted to Associate Professor in 2019. He has mentored 9 MS students. His main research interests include photonics, plasmonics, nano-optics, detectors, optoelectronics and optothermal mechanisms, which were supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). Dr. Yang has published 3 Book chapters, and 30 peer-reviewed journal publications, such as Advanced Materials, Nano Letters, ACS Nano, Advanced Optical Materials, Nanophotonics, Nanoscale, ACS Photonics, and etc. He has been an Editorial Board Member of Optics in 2018 and to be a member for RSC Advances Reviewer Panel since 2020. In 2021, he has been appointed as guest editor of Frontiers in Materials (IF 3.5), managing the research topic of Photo-Sensitive Materials and Devices for Nanophotonics, Optoelectronics and Photoelectrocatalysis. He is a member of American Chemical Society (ACS), Optical Society of America (OSA), Chinese Optical Society (COS) and Chinese Society for Optical Engineering (CSOE).

Short Bio: Prof. Lei Xu is currently serving as a Professor at the Physics Department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong since 2009. He did his Ph.D. at The University of Chicago (2000-2006)and his Post-doc research at Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (2006-2009). Throughout his career, Prof. Xu has been recognized for his excellent research in experimental soft condensed matter physics. His research focuses on mechanical metamaterials, fluids, and complex fluids. He has published many papers in prestigious physics journals, including Nature Physics, PRL, PRX, Nature Communications, and PNAS. Rami Ahmad El-Nabulsi holds a PhD in Particle Physics, Mathematical Physics and Modeling from Provence University (currently Aix-Marseille University), France and a diploma of advanced studies in Plasma Physics and Radiation Astrophysics from the same institution. He worked with different worldwide research departments in UK, South Korea, China, Greece, Thailand, India, etc. and he is currently affiliated to Chiang Mai University, Thailand. He is the author of more than 325 peer-reviewed papers in peer-refereed reputed journals and a reviewer for more than 125 scientific journals. His research ranges from applied mathematics to theoretical physics including nonlinear dynamical systems, space and astrophysics, general relativity, geometrical and algebraic physics, physics and chemistry of solids, plasma MHD, neutronics and nuclear reactors, superconductivity, and magnetic materials among others.

Jinshu Wang is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the College of Materials Science and Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, majoring in materials science. She is mainly engaged in the research of electron emission materials, energy materials and materials for pollution control. She was awarded the Distinguished Professor of Chang Jiang Scholars Program by the Ministry of Education, China in 2015. She received National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars in 2012. She got China Youth Science and Technology Award, Mao Yisheng Science and Technology Award-Beijing Youth ect. She has been selected into the National Hundred Thousand Talents Project, has made outstanding contributions to young and middle-aged experts, and received special government allowances from the State Council. She has won National, provincial and ministerial science and Technology awards. Prof. Wang is the author of over 400 peer reviewed journal (Adv. Mater. ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., ect.) papers and 2 books

Dr. Theodosios Geo Douvropoulos studied Physics at Patra University, Greece (1996). He then joined the research group of Prof. C.A. Nicolaides at the National Hellenic Research Foundation (Theoretical Physics and Chemistry Institute), where he received a Master's degree in Physics (2001) and his Ph.D. degree (2005) in Quantum Dynamics. His main research activity is about the quantum evolution of low-dimensional physical and chemical systems. He has published more than 20 research articles and has obtained the position of Lecturer at the Hellenic Naval Academy of Greece since November 2022.

Dr. K.Janani Sivasankar working as Assistant Professor of Physics and Nanotechnology, Kattankulathur Campus, SRM Institute of Science and Technology since August 2007. She pursued her doctorate in Physics from SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University). She completed her Master’s and M.Phil in Physics from Madras Christian College, University of Madras. She is a one of the university rank holder during her Bachelors degree. She has obtained rank II in M.Sc Physics. She was a member of the Indian Science Congress Association. She has participated in the poster presentation of the 6th International Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology on ICONN 2021 held at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai during February 1-3,2021. Her paper entitled “Density Functional Study on Edge Functionalization of Zigzag Graphene Nanoribbon Using Isoleucine and Essential Trace Minerals” has received “KAWAZOE PRIZE” for the Best Poster in ACCMS Symposium on “Computational Materials, Methods and Numerical Techniques” in ICONN 2021.Acted as session chair in the oral presentation IEEE event, the 2nd edition of the Student Research Symposium 2023. This event is a collaborative effort between the IEEE Madhya Pradesh Section Electron Devices Society Chapter, and the IEEE Nanotechnology Council and Sensors Council Student Chapter(s) at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore.Acted as Judge for the Pharma CHallenge Event conducted by Biogen, Events Team, Shaastra, IIT Madras,2023.
